Our ambition and strategy is to plant a local church in every single trading centre/village town in Kaabong. We have scouted over 20 such towns. Every such centre usually has a school, boreholes and health centre that is surrounded by homesteads that comprise the entirety of that community and then you travel another 6 kilometres for this model to repeat itself. Hence we look to plant a church in each of these centres.

We hope to see the church planted in each of these centres become the gospel witness, the evangelist, the discipler/teacher and the community transformer.

But to make this happen we will need three things; the Bible Translated, a missionary sent and a local pastor raised.

• Bible Translation: We are attempting to continue the translation of the bible into the Ik language. Like Wycliffe founder Cam Townsend once said, “The greatest missionary is the Bible in the mother tongue. It never needs a furlough, is never considered a foreigner and makes all other missionaries unnecessary.”
  
  
• Missionary: For churches to be planted we will need a missionary scouting these places, finding a person of peace, starting discovery bible studies that lead to planting churches and identifying key people for deeper discipleship and equipping to become leaders/pastors.
  
  
• Local Pastor: To see churches planted and established we need to see local indigenous pastors raised, discipled and equipped to take over the leadership of these churches.
  These pastors emerge as we pray, scout and start discovery bible studies. Those who believe and continue to show tremendous progress and desire for growth as we do studies are followed up with more intentionality. It’s these that we see as emerging leaders and invite for our Pastors training and equipping program (PTE), do more intentional life on life discipleship and the Theological education by extension (TEE).
